How do I Connect to the Wireless Network?

To use the network, you must configure your computer or laptop for our network and log in to authenticate your connection.

You must have the following to be able to access the network:

  • A laptop or desktop computer
  • Windows XP with Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, or Windows 7
  • Apple Macintosh OSX 10.5 or newer
  • A 802.11G (sometimes called a WiFi card) wireless card, either internal or plugged into the side of your laptop
  • An Elms College user account

Students should use their login and password that was given to them during orientation. Faculty and staff should use their Elms account information.

Important Note: Any decive that does not support WPA2-PSK AES will not work with the campus wireless network.
