Mary A. Dooley Lecture Series

The Mary Dooley Lecture Series, sponsored by the Elms College Institute for Theology and Pastoral Studies, brings prominent speakers with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds to campus to discuss themes related to religious studies or spirituality.

Now in its 26th year, the lecture series was introduced in 1986 to further local awareness of the Second Vatican Council. It is named after the college's sixth president, Sr. Mary Dooley, who worked with her sister Sr. Eleanor Dooley and Rev. Lucien Richard to launch the original series.
