Minor in Business and Law
This 18-credit minor is designed for students who are interested in developing their knowledge in both business and law.
Paralegal and legal studies students build upon a solid foundation of legal and business coursework and then enlarge their knowledge of the business world through two additional courses selected from the business course offerings. The minor is not ABA-approved, so students wishing to prepare for work as a paralegal should complete the 27-credit certificate in advanced paralegal studies.
Likewise, business students complete the core legal and business coursework, and then enhance their knowledge of the legal system by selecting two additional law classes.
Students from outside the Division of Business and Law may also qualify for this minor by completing the required core coursework and then selecting one additional law and one additional business course.
