Take Classes Online to Prepare for a Career as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Elms College now offers a dynamic online course sequence for students who want to become speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs).

The SLPA profession is a growing field, with employment opportunities in preschool and school settings. SLPAs work under the supervision of a certified speech-language pathologist, providing screening and treatment services to individuals with communication disorders.

Elms offers an online study program. There are two- and three-year completion tracks.

In addition, interested individuals may enroll in up to nine (9) credits of SLPA coursework through Elms College prior to applying.

SLPA requirements vary by state. Please be sure to check with your state or the state in which you plan to work to determine the requirements for employment as an SLPA.
