Fine Arts
"A sincere artist is not one who makes a faithful attempt to put on to canvas what is in front of him, but one who tries to create something which is, in itself, a living thing." — William Dobell, sculptor and painter
Our fine arts program encourages you to approach art in your own way. We offer classes in art history, theory, drawing, painting, sculpture, theater set design, and more. You learn to think critically while you get your hands dirty. We provide public forums for students to present their work, such as our Borgia Gallery and the Black Box Theater.
Our faculty are accomplished artists who have decades of experience to share with students. We promote the exploration of multicultural art forms and the connections between spirituality and the arts.
We encourages you to combine the fine arts with other fields such as business, media, graphic design, education, social work, and human services. Graduates from our program have gone on to earn master of fine arts degrees from schools around the world, work as graphic designers, art therapists, teachers, and freelance artists.
