Spanish and Legal Studies

Latinos are the fastest growing ethnic group in the United States, according to the U. S. Department of Labor, changing the face of our communities. The justice system is one of many areas in need of professionals who speak Spanish and are familiar with Hispanic cultural backgrounds. The double major in legal studies and Spanish encourages you to combine language and cultural proficiency with an understanding of the legal system.
