Weekend College
Finding the time to go back to college is sometimes the greatest obstacle to finishing your degree. Weekend College gives you the flexibility to continue your education.
Weekend College offers a degree completion program in business management, as well as individual courses to fulfill college requirements.
Our social work program teaches you to respond to human needs with competence and caring, fosters a strong identification with the social work profession, and strengthens your commitment to your own professional growth. Students who have already earned an associate's degree in a related field can complete their bachelor's degree in social work part-time in two years by following our suggested Weekend College schedule.
Three Weekend College terms are scheduled, with the [Weekend I]term running from September to December, [Weekend II] from January to April, and [Weekend III] from May to August.
You attend classes Friday evenings or Saturdays during a 13- or 14-week term. Friday classes meet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Syllabi are available two to three weeks prior to the start of the term, and a pre-assignment is required.
