Articulation Agreements

Elms College currently has articulation agreements with a number of two-year public colleges in Massachusetts and Connecticut which allows for a smooth transferring of credits into Elms College.

Massachusetts Joint Admissions Agreement

Although a private college, Elms College honors the provision of the joint admission agreement between community colleges and four-year public institutions in Massachusetts. Students who apply to Elms College with an associate’s degree in liberal arts and sciences from an accredited two-year college with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 will be granted admission and may satisfy the Elms College core curriculum requirements by competing senior seminar and a three-credit course in religious studies. Students are guaranteed junior status and the transfer of at least 60 credits, including "D" grades, which are counted as general electives where majors have minimum grade requirements. Elms College majors excluded from guaranteed admission under joint admission are nursing, education, and communication sciences and disorders.
