Cape Cod

The Cape Cod chapter boasts a close-knit network of alumni whose social gatherings culminate in the chapter's annual luncheon held the first Tuesday in August. This event began in the homes of Elms College alumni, but because of its growth the event now takes place in different restaurants throughout the Cape.

Recap Events

On Tuesday, October 27, 2009, a small group of Cape Cod chapter members attended a luncheon to meet Elms new president, Sister Mary Reap. The occasion allowed Cape Cod residents to meet others with whom they did not previously realize their Elms - or their Cape Cod - connection.

Lora McNeece Barrett '72 greeted alumni and friends of Elms as they arrived at The Old Yarmouth Inn, on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, as she worked on her latest painting in the open air. Many of her art pieces were exhibited during luncheon. Lora contributed two framed pieces as raffle prizes.
