Course Auditing

Alumni may audit undergraduate courses at Elms College at 50 percent of the course tuition. There is a $20 registration fee, and you are responsible for any additional fees required for certain courses. Auditing is based on seating availability.

Alumnae Library

Alumnae Library provides the following services to all alumni:

  • Elms library card upon request
  • Borrowing privileges
  • Reference assistance
  • Remote access to scholarly databases

The Maguire Center for Health, Fitness, and Athletics

The Maguire Center offers all Elms Alumni a yearly discount. The regular fee is $350, and with the discount the fee is $275 and includes the following privileges year-round:

  • A full line of "Cybex" equipment and free weights
  • An assortment of cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, elliptical machines, stair masters, and bicycles
  • Free style swimming or water exercise classes
  • The gymnasium area is available for pick-up basketball games and other ball related sports
  • An indoor track

Polish Center of Discovery and Learning at Elms College

The Polish Center of Discovery and Learning was established in February 1999 and is now located in the Holy Name rectory building on South Street. The Center provides the following:

  • A place to preserve objects representative of the Polish people in America
  • Learning resources
  • Programming
  • History of Polish people in the USA
  • A permanent exhibit of historical and cultural
  • A basic research collection of Polish history and culture
  • Cooperation with the initiatives of other institutions and cultural organizations regionally, nationally, and internationally

Irish Cultural Center

The Irish Cultural Center offers:

  • lectures
  • music events
  • films, exhibits
  • writing contests for middle school students
  • Celtic Adventures for Kids
  • Christmas with an Irish Touch
  • a film series
  • brunch in June
  • marching in the Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Parade.
