Commencement Driving Instructions

MAY 14, 2011 

As a result of the Pancake Breakfast and the Springfield 375th Birthday Party Parade that will be taking place on the same morning as graduation, the only access to the Parking Garage will be traveling on Dwight Street.

Please note that Main Street and State Street will be closed and blocked.

Parking is $7.00 and the garage is labeled "Civic Center Parking."

From the North

Interstate 91 South merge on to Interstate 291. Take exit 2 via Chestnut Street. Take right off the ramp on to Chestnut Street. Right on to Liberty Street. Left on to Dwight Street. Turn right on Harrison Avenue or Falcons Way (as there are entrances on both sides of the garage). The parking garage is located on the Southwest corner of Dwight and Harrison.

From the South

Interstate 91 North merge on to Interstate 291. Take exit 2B via Dwight Street. Turn right on Harrison Avenue or Falcons Way (as there are entrances on both sides of parking garage). The parking garage is located on the Southwest corner of Dwight and Harrison.

From Elms College

Take a left on to Springfield Street. Travel straight until you can not go straight anymore (you will pass Baystate Hospital on your left hand side). Take a right on to Jefferson Ave.  At the first set of lights take a left on to Dwight Street. Proceed straight and Harrison Avenue & Falcons Way will be on your right hand side.
