Mathematics

The Elms College mathematics program is tailored to help you accomplish your career goals, whether in the field of mathematics or as a math teacher. Our faculty are specifically qualified to teach a blend of pure and applied mathematics courses, which builds a solid foundation for your future. The interaction between our students, faculty from different disciplines, and math professionals gives math majors a unique perspective on their chosen field.

Our graduates are licensed to teach in Massachusetts and more than 40 states, islands, and territories, including all of the New England states and New York. We have alumni who work for Aetna Insurance, Mass Mutual, Hewitt Associates, People's Bank, and the National Security Agency.

Our students have gone on to pursue graduate degrees in statistics, actuarial mathematics, education, and business administration.
