Alzheimer's listening session a chance for community input
Free event one of four around state
The Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders State Plan Steering Committee will hold a listening session to hear community concerns and ideas for meeting the needs of seniors with Alzheimer's Disease, in their homes, communities, and residential settings.
With a growing senior population, and more people likely to develop Alzheimer's and other cognitive disorders, Massachusetts is working to find meaningful strategies to support seniors, their families, and caregivers.
The listening session is free and open to the public. One of four listening sessions scheduled around the state in September, the event is sponsored by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs and The Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire chapter. To RSVP, for more information, or for special accommodations, call Jennifer Carter at 617-868-6718, extension 2027.
