Honoring Outstanding Generosity to Elms College

Elms College is flourishing today thanks to the generosity of our many donors. We are proud to honor our most noteworthy donors and volunteers with several events throughout the year. Living Legacy Society

The Living Legacy Society was established in 1994 to honor alumni and friends of Elms College who have established a charitable gift annuity or trust; included the college in their bequest; or named Elms College as beneficiary of an insurance policy.

The Living Legacy Tree, designed by Theresa Amiot '47, was crafted in 1997 and hangs in the Berchmans Hall Rotunda. The name of each member of the Living Legacy Society is engraved on a leaf of the tree, which symbolizes the shade and security provided to us by alumni and friends.

Presidential Evening of Appreciation

The Presidential Evening of Appreciation celebrates the generosity and support of those who have joined the Elms Leadership Giving Societies through their annual and lifetime giving. The 2009 event was held October 3, 2009 in conjunction with Inauguration Week activities.

Donor and Scholar Reception

The annual donor and scholar event, held in April, brings together scholarship donors and recipients. It provides a forum for donors and students to get to know one another.

Class Agent Appreciation

After the close of the fiscal year in June, we recognize our class agent's for volunteering their time and energy over the past year. This event never fails to re-energize our class agent team and get them ready for another year of helping the alma mater they hold so dear.
