The SGA:

Serves as the official representative of the student body

Makes the student viewpoint clear to the college administration and faculty

Advocates for the best interests of the students

Contributes to the total development of each student by promoting communication among all members of the college community.

Each full time student is considered a member of the SGA. The association also includes the executive board, a student council, and a judicial board, and elections for SGA offices are held in April. Meetings are held at least once a month, and additionally as necessary.

Student Government

The purpose of the student government association (SGA) is to provide a structure within the college community specifically interested in the needs and concerns of the students.
