Nursing
Nursing is taught in an environment
characterized by an ethical value system, a spirit
of ecumenism, and a common vision of the importance
of a commitment of service to others. The learning
environment stimulates the development of nursing
knowledge throughout the program.

The Department of Nursing prepares nursing graduates
who are educated in the arts and sciences, and professionally
educated in nursing theory, research, and practice.

"The
Elms College nursing program is one of the best, so I
was ecstatic when I was accepted. It gets you right out
into the field for observation your first year, which
is earlier than most schools. It’s a program that
emphasizes turning out well-rounded nurses."
