We are entering what is
widely regarded as the century of biology.
The
life sciences, undergoing consolidation, are forming
two major domains:
- One extends from the
molecule to the organism,
- the other brings together
population biology, biodiversity studies, and
ecology.
To best appreciate life in its full complexity,
both domains must be investigated.
Many
of our graduates enter the health care field,
either at the pre- or post-professional level. |
