CIT Major Requirements (42 credits)

  • CIT 101 Introduction to Computers
  • CIT 106 Cyber Ethics or CIT 105 Cyber Culture
  • CIT 122 Concept Design (with no prior programming experience) or CIT 312 Advanced Programming (prereq: CIT 213)
  • GDS 179 Introduction to Computer Graphics
  • CIT 213 Introduction to Programming
  • CIT 256 Web Design
  • CIT 214 Networks and Security
  • CIT 215 Database Design and Management
  • CIT 366 Web Programming or CIT 312 Advanced Programming (if not counted above)
  • CIT 456 Professional Web Design Project or CIT 423 Professional Programming Project (Senior Capstone courses)
  • CIT 405 Internship
  • 3 CIT electives among those listed below (2 must be 300-level or above)

CIT Minor Requirements (24 credits):
