Transfer Credit for Course Requirements
Students may transfer credit from accredited institutions of higher education when courses completed are applicable to the program. Students can only transfer in courses that have been taken in the last three years. This is due to the fact that medical schools will only accept courses that have been taken in the last five years. In order to be eligible for transfer, the course must have the appropriate course content and the student must have earned a "B" or better in the course. The minimum course grade acceptable for transfer credit is B, or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Only courses pre-approved by the pre-medical program's advisor will be acceptable for transfer credit.
