Academic Advising

The opportunity for individual program planning is a special strength of Elms College, and faculty members take seriously their responsibility to help each student evaluate routes to academic, personal, and career goals.

• Advisors are assigned to all incoming students
• First-year students are advised by faculty members who also are instructors in the required first-year seminars.
• Academic advisors work closely with each student to ensure a smooth transition to college and appropriate course selections.
• Academic counseling is available to first-year and transfer students prior to registration by both admission counselors and advisors.
• Career counseling is available through the Career and Experiential Lerning Center
