Degree Completion Programs at Greenfield Community College (GCC)

Greenfield Community College and Elms College have partnered to create a unique weekend program that offers students the best of both colleges. The end result is an affordable bachelor's degree from Elms College.

Degrees are currently offered in social work, business management and marketing, early care and education, and RN-BS with classes offered right on the GCC campus. And you can complete your degree in 10 eight-week sessions.

An online, 22-month bachelor’s degree is offered in Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and a 36-credit certificate program is also available.

How It Works

The Elms College bachelor's degree completion programs offered at GCC meet all general requirements of Elms College. You enter this program with the required associate's degree, satisfy Elms' core requirements, and complete the requirements of your specific degree program. Essentially, you earn a degree from a private institution in a familiar public school setting.

Weekend classes are held on the GCC campus on Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-5 p.m., and are taught by Elms faculty. You are able to complete your coursework in 10 eight-week sessions over a 20-month period.

A bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is offered online in 11 eight-week sessions over a 22-month period.

When you finish the program of your choice, you will be awarded an Elms College bachelor degree.
