Weekend College offers a degree completion program in social work, as well as individual courses to fulfill college requirements.
Our bachelor of science degree in social work will prepare you to work with people throughout the life span in entry-level positions in a variety of settings, such as in hospitals, child welfare agencies, nursing homes, mental health centers, correctional facilities, and other agencies. You will learn to respond to human needs with competence and caring, a strong identification with the social work profession, and a commitment to your own further professional growth. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to take the Massachusetts state social work licensing exam at the licensed social worker level.
Graduates of our program are prepared for employment by hospitals, nursing homes, mental health centers, correctional settings, child welfare agencies, and social service agencies. Tuition for this weekend program is $604 per credit. See our financial aid page for more information on tuition and fees.
We recommend a full two-year schedule to complete your degree in social work.
