MSN in Nursing Education

The nursing education track in the M.S.N. program prepares graduates to educate the next generation of nurses. Specifically, the nursing education track prepares nurses to assume leadership roles as dynamic educators in baccalaureate and associate's degree programs, staff development, continuing education, and community education programs.

Students create curricula, plan programs, explore evaluation techniques, and teach with experts. This track includes two education practicums that provide opportunities for students to apply knowledge and skills learned as well as obtain graduate-level clinical practice and teaching expereince in the area of nursing practice.
