The RN to BS to MSN track is an accelerated program of study available to registered nurses seeking completion of both the baccalaureate (BS) and master's degree in nursing (MSN). The RN to BS to MSN program is an articulated plan that includes two bridge courses within the baccalaureate curriculum; and allows the student to complete graduate-level nursing courses while enrolled in the RN to BS program.
During the RN to BS to MSN plan, the BS degree is conferred upon successful completion of all baccalaureate courses and required residency credits. The student then completes the master's program in a selected specialization track to meet degree requirements for the MSN. Students completing the RN to BS to MSN track will be awarded two degrees - a bachelor's of science in nursing (BS) and a master of science in nursing (MSN).
