Articulation with Holyoke Community College

  1. The joint admission program is intended to facilitate the transfer of eligible participating students from Holyoke Community College to Elms College upon completion of their associate degree programs at HCC and satisfaction of other applicable conditions required under the joint admission program. Students must earn a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average and the associate degree in a program accepted by Elms College. Students who fulfill the requirements for joint admission at HCC are eligible for junior status at Elms College. Grades below "C" are not transferable unless approved by petition. Students seeking joint admission into specialized programs, including but not limited to communication sciences and disorders or education, must satisfy all program requirements and earn the minimum cumulative grade point average established for those programs. This agreement excludes the following degree programs at Elms College: nursing.
  2. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of arts degree in criminal justice with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of arts in criminal justice program.
  3. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of arts degree in criminal justice with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of arts in legal studies program.
  4. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of science degree in human services with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of science in social work program.
  5. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of science degree in early childhood education with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of science in social work program.
  6. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of arts degree in liberal arts and sciences with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of arts in early childhood education/psychology program.
  7. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of arts degree in liberal arts and sciences with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of arts in early childhood education/psychology program.
  8. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of arts degree in arts and sciences (psychology option) with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of arts in early childhood education/psychology program.
  9. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of arts degree in liberal arts and sciences with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of arts in early childhood education/Spanish program.
  10. Holyoke Community College students who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours and the associate of science degree in early childhood education with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 will be automatically granted admission to Elms College with junior status into the bachelor of arts in early childhood education/Spanish program.
