Elms College's health center assists students with health promotion activities and practices that contribute to life-long wellness. We are equipped to handle everything from seasonal illnesses and common health concerns to the management of significant episodic and chronic health issues.
Beyond the everyday walk-in visits, sports physicals and general medical care, we run programs in cooperation with residence life encompassing such topics as preparing for the cold and flu season, learning stress management techniques and making responsible life choices.
Health center office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. Jill Gagne, RN, BS is the director of the health center and is on call for the residence life staff when the office is closed. Her office is located in the Maguire Center, along with the Counseling Center. Our offices work together to provide a holistic approach to health maintenance.
Jill received her RN diploma from Baystate Medical Center School of Nursing and bachelor of science degree from Elms College.
We are a private Catholic coeducational liberal arts college founded in 1928 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield, Massachusetts. Elms College is located in Chicopee, Massachusetts, and grants associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.
