Mathematical Science
Secondary Education

The Mathematical Science Department offers programs designed to serve students preparing for graduate study in the mathematical sciences, or for a career in the actuarial sciences, in management, or in education.

 
 

Our mission is:

  • to foster habits of systematic and precise thinking;
  • to furnish in-depth preparation for the understanding and use of the language, principles and concepts of mathematics and computer information technology; and
  • to provide the logical skills and techniques needed in the applications of the mathematical sciences.

(Min. at Elms College: 18 cr. / Min. G.P.A.: 2.0)
Major Requirements-35 credits

NOTE: Education majors need a minimum of 2.8 G.P.A. in that major.
