Massachusetts Educational
Financing Authority (MEFA)
MEFA is a self-financing not-for-profit state authority
dedicated to keeping college education affordable
for
families. The MEFA loan offers one of the nation’s
lowest rate loan programs. The MEFA also offers a loan
for graduate education and Federal PLUS loans
from MEFA.
Mapping
Your Future
This site offers information on financial strategies,
career options, and college planning, and online Stafford
Entrance Counseling. Mapping Your Future is a national
collaborative, public-service project of the financial
aid industry.
National Student
Loan Data System (NSLDS)
This is the U.S. Department of Education central database
for student aid. It receives data from schools, agencies
that guaranty loans, the Direct Loan program, the Pell
Grant program, and other U.S. Department of Education
programs. NSLDS provides a centralized, integrated view
of Title IV loans and Pell grants that are tracked through
their entire cycle; from aid approval through closure.
