Merit Scholarships
Elms College offers more than 100 private scholarships,
grants, and discounts to students, some of which are
based on financial need, and some of which are based
on academic achievement. A partial list of these awards
includes:
Presidential Scholarship
- $6,000 to $12,000 per year
Offered to our strongest applicants admitted directly
from their senior year in high school with superior
academic records.
Elms Scholarship - $1,000
to $6,000 per year
Offered to applicants admitted directly from their
senior year in high school who have distinguished
themselves
through outstanding academic work.
Transfer Elms Scholarship
- $1,000 to $8,000 per year
Offered to our strongest transfer candidates based on
G.P.A.
Elms Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
- $6,000 to $10,000 per year
Offered to transfer candidates who are members of Phi
Theta Kappa based on G.P.A.
Chicopee Scholarship
- $1,000 to 50% tuition per year
Offered to students admitted directly from their senior
year from Chicopee High School or Chicopee Comprehensive
High School based on their G.P.A.
Diocesan Scholarship
- $1,000 to 50% tuition per year
Offered to students admitted directly from their senior
year from Cathedral High School, St. Mary High School,
Holyoke Catholic High School or St. Joseph Central High
based on G.P.A.
Catholic School Grant
- $1,000 per year
Offered to applicants admitted directly from their
senior year at a Catholic High School outside of the
Springfield,
Massachusetts Dioceses.
Deanery Award
Deanery Scholarships, equivalent to 50 percent of Elms
College tuition, are awarded to at
least two students from each of the 10 deaneries within
the Diocese of Springfield, based on the students’
involvement in the life of their parishes. Students
may be recommended by clergy, diocesan leadership,
teachers,
parishioners or other adults who can attest to the
student’s
qualifications.

Sibling Discount
If a family enrolls more than one dependent undergraduate
full-time at the college in any given year, the additional
family member(s) enrolled will receive a 25 percent
tuition discount during each semester of concurrent
matriculation. |
