The 2011 Libqual Library Survey

LibQUAL+TM is a research and development project undertaken by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) in collaboration with Texas A&M University. The project is defining and measuring library service quality across institutions and creating useful quality assessment tools for libraries. The goals of the LibQUAL+TM project are:

  • To develop web-based tools for assessing library service quality
  • To develop mechanisms and protocols for evaluating libraries
  • To identify best practices in providing library service
  • To establish a library service quality assessment program at ARL

The Alumnae Library participated in LibQUAL+TM for the first time during the Spring 2011 semester. Results of the survey will help in determining improvements to the library. Results of the survey will be listed here as they are received.
