A good night's sleep will shake us of our jet lag as we embark on our first travel day of our trip! We will head for the Amalfi pier in the morning to board a ferry that will whisk us away to Capri. We will exit the ferry at the Marina Grande and meet our guide. From the Marina, we will proceed by mini bus to Anacapri, where we will visit the legendary Villa San Michele. Later in the morning, we will also visit the famous "Piazzetta" and the Gardens of Caesar Augustus with the breathtaking view over the Faraglioni. After stopping for lunch at a local restaurant, we will have free time to browse around Capri before boarding the ferry back to the mainland. Dinner and wine will be served at our hotel upon our return.
Today will be a relaxing day with minimum hustle and bustle. We will set sail on a private boat and follow the mesmerizing coastline to Positano while enjoying the views of the little villages perched on the rocks overlooking the sea. Once we land in glamorous Positano, we are free to explore the town at our own leisure. How about a refreshing gelato at one of the local cafes? We will once again board our boat later in the afternoon to return to Maiori. Another delicious dinner is planned for later at our hotel.
The quaint and romantic town of Sorrento is our destination for this morning. Our guide will show us the impressive hightlights of the town, including the famous Piazza Tasso. Once we arrive in Amalfi, we will visit the Duomo and the Chiostro del Paradiso. Dinner and wine will be served at our hotel.
After breakfast, we will depart for Ravello, a gorgeous town that sits on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Once we have soaked in these stunning views, we will tour Villa Rufolo and its gardens with our guide. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. We will return to Maiori in the afternoon, with dinner and wine to be enjoyed later.

It is time to say goodbye to the colorful Amalfi Coast and head for the Eternal City! On our way to Rome, we stop in Pompeii to take a walking tour of the well-known archaeological site of the Roman town buried by an eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79AD. After our tour has concluded, we proceed to a local winery for lunch with wines of the estate. Once lunch is finished, we proceed on our journey on board the Autostrada del Sole. We pass through Naples and Montecassino on our way to Rome, where an important battle was fought at the end of WWII. When we arrive in Rome, we will check in at the Hotel Savoy, located right off the Via Veneto and the Spanish Steps.
Breakfast will be enjoyed at the hotel and we will meet our guide, who will lead us on a full-day guided tour of the highlights of Rome. We will start our tour at the Vatican Museum, where we will marvel at Michelangelo's masterpiece: the Sistine Chapel. Continuing on our tour, we will cross the Tiber River and arrive at the Circus Maximus with a view of the Palatine Hill.
