The Standing on Her Shoulders: Trailblazing Women in Western Massachusetts exhibit features portraits commissioned by the Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts in celebration of the fund's 15th anniversary to honor the achievements of 16 women in their 70s, 80s, 90s and 100s.

In recognition of their impact, these beautiful portraits have been exhibited in locations across the state including the Hall of Flags in the Massachusetts State House.
The exhibit will be open during regular college hours from Friday, Jan. 29, through Tuesday, Feb. 23 ( closed on Feb. 15). An opening reception will be held Tuesday, Feb. 2 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

About the artist

Robert Charles Photography captures "Life in Motion"… natural, emotionally sensitive portraits of newborns, children and family relationships. Their commissioned photographs reflect the fine artistry of custom-crafted black and white, Freeform and documentary styles. Father and son, Robert Charles and Robert Francis Zemba, have each earned multiple professional distinctions including the Kodak Gallery, Fuji Masterpiece and PPA Loan Collection Awards.
