Mary Dooley Lecture Series: Global Heart

When: Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

Where: Veritas Auditorium, Berchmans Hall

Admission: Free and open to the public.

Elms College, in partnership with the First Year Seminar, hosts a lecture on how the global crises of food shortage, armed conflict, and economic strife require a world of dreamers to fight for and construct a new sustainable world. Speaker Griselda Martinez Morales, CSJ, a native of Mexico, is presently serving as the nongovernmental organization representative for the Sisters of St. Joseph at the United Nations.

Now in its twenty-sixth year, the Mary Dooley Lecture Series is presented annually by the religious studies department at the Institute for Theology and Pastoral Studies at Elms College.
