Career planning is a developmental process that is fostered throughout one's entire life.

Did you know that the average person changes careers three or four times throughout his or her lifetime? The Career and Experiential Learning Center is available to help Elms College alumni throughout their lives as they change careers or pursue their educational and employment goals. The same services that are available to our students are available to our alumni.

We offer a number of services and resources you may find helpful, such as:

  • Individual appointments with a career advisor
  • Access to career interest inventories such as the FOCUS Computerized Guidance System
  • Workshops or personal assistance in designing a resume and cover letter and searching and interviewing for jobs
  • Access to the college's online employment Opportunity Network for employment and volunteer listings
  • Information on graduate schools, including entrance requirements
  • Mentoring and networking with other alumni

If you have any questions, contact Joe Cary, director of the Career Center, by phone at 413-265-2272.
