International Programming
This office collaborates with students, faculty and other campus offices to introduce the value of diversity and global awareness to our campus. Together, we strive to enhance the international learning community at Elms College.
Elms College/Kochi Women’s University March Exchange
One of the programs this office oversees is our annual exchange in March with students from Kochi Women’s University. Elms students, both male and female, welcome students from Japan and serve as Friendship Partners during their visit. Students are able to interact and to learn about Japanese culture, while they share American culture with their Japanese guests.
Elms in Japan
Every other year, Elms students spend two weeks traveling and studying in Japan. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Japan and to enhance global understanding.
International Club
We encourage both international students and American students to be a part of the International Club. The club holds many events to celebrate cultures and to educate others about global affairs.
