Life at Elms College!
Living on campus is a major part of student
life. The office of residential life provides a supportive, safe,
and encouraging environment where studens can pursue intellectual,
cultural, and extracurricular interests.
Residence Halls include:
- O’Leary Hall, built in 1922, is
a traditional co-ed residence hall, with antique-filled and
oriental-carpeted
common rooms on the first floor, and single, double, triple,
and quad rooms on all four floors. Each
room has wireless Internet service along with television access.
- Rose William Hall was built
in 1964. Newly renovated, this co-ed residence hall provides
a contemporary environment
for living
and study. Common living rooms are located on the first
floor, with single and double rooms on two floors. Each
room has wireless Internet service along with television access.
- Devine Hall was
built in 1957. It provides a co-ed living environment with
two floors of double rooms and a basement
with common rooms and a kitchen. It can accommodate approximately
40 upper-class students, each of whom is provided with
a bed, bureau, closet, desk, and chair. Each
room has wireless Internet service along with television access.
Each residence hall has a staff of student resident assistants
(RAs) who assist students and are responsible for maintaining
the college's residence hall regulations.
