The services provided by the student services team are essential components
in the success of the Elms College student experience. The work of this team
is based on the belief that learning occurs through all facets of the college
experience.
Mission Statement
While focusing on the mission
of Elms College, the area of student services strives to be a
force for growth and empowerment
of our students. We strive to learn and teach,
to give and receive, and to promote understanding and respect
while being understood and respected. We strive to embrace, encourage,
and celebrate the diversity on our campus and within our community.
We strive to focus on the whole student by providing services
that enhance one’s social, physical,
emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to
provide all students the opportunities to develop those skills
necessary to balance their lives in a meaningful and positive
manner. It is our belief that to successfully and completely
achieve our stated goal of ‘educating for life and for
a living,’ we must collaborate with other areas
of the college in identifying student needs, and designing and
redesigning programs to meet those needs.”

the first floor of The Mary Dooley College Center,
is open Monday through Friday
from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
