Borrowing Policy:
Inter-library loan (ILL) services are offered to current faculty, students, administrators and staff, needing research materials not held by Alumnae Library.

All requests must be submitted electronically.  Many of the databases available through the library website have a tab to click on for arriving at an electronic submission form. All EBSCO, First Search, Infotrac, Social Work Abstracts, and Cambridge Scientific databases have direct ILL access.  An on-line form is available for those requests that do not have direct access.  These forms are self-explanatory and easy to complete.

Please be advised that while many libraries offer free ILL services, some will charge a fee to loan items.

Notification of the receipt of requested items will be made via voice or e-mail, and the pick up location is the Circulation Desk.

Any overdue, damaged or lost items are the responsibility of the borrowing patron.

Lending Policy:
Alumnae Library is a member of NELINET, C/W MARS, CLGS, and WMRLS, and honors requests from these consortia.  All other ILL requests will be charged for postage and handling.

Alumnae Library does not circulate videos or DVDs through the van service or the Post Office.  Patrons requesting these formats must come into the library to borrow the items. Dissertations and state and federal law collections do not circulate at all.
