Nursing and Health Services Management

This 42-credit master's program is designed to meet the challenging role and scope of the nurse manager's practice in today's health care delivery system. By integrating the essential knowledge and skills from both business and nursing, graduates are prepared for all levels of managerial and leadership positions within a variety of organizational and health care settings.

This program includes two unique and sequential practicum courses in nursing and health services management. The residency courses focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and creativity in management.

Program Outcomes

At the completion of this program, the graduate will be an effective nurse leader who can analyze health systems, develop new ideas and strategic plans to guide the organizations, and manage change in nursing services.
