- Follow directions on blue sidebar for printing.
- Full-text articles and citations can be emailed to your own off-campus address.
- Journal citations not owned by the Elms can be submitted to the Interlibrary Loan Department for retrieval (for Elms students only).
- Your search can be limited to articles with full-text.
- Context sensitive HELP screens are available every step of the way.
- A dictionary is built into the software.
- Search words can be truncated with an asterisk (*).

General Interest and Academic Research:
- Academic OneFile is a resource for peer-reviewed content and includes full-text coverage of NPR, CNN, CBC transcripts, and the New York Times (1995).
- Biography Resource Center + the Complete Marquis Who's Who provides biographies for individuals spanning a variety of fields.
- Expanded Academic ASAP provides scholarly content covering arts & humanities, the social sciences, and the general sciences.
- Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.
- General OneFile provides a one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics. Coverage: 1980 to present.
- General Reference Center Gold provides general interest magazine articles, reference book extracts, and citations to newspaper articles.
- Massachusetts History Online provides full-text articles from 50 magazines and local newspapers about Massachusetts.
- New York Times Newspaper (1995 to present) offers full-text coverage of the U.S. newspaper of record as well as superb coverage of national and international news.
Business:
- General BusinessFile ASAP provides news and articles on major companies and industries.
Education:
- Educator's Reference Complete provides full text of over 1,100 periodicals and 200 reports for educational research from preschool to college.
- Junior/Student Editions are databases that provide articles selected for the appropriate age level and include magazines, reference books, and newspaper articles on current events and other topics.
- Kids InfoBits meets the research needs of students in Kindergarten through Grade 5.
Health:
- Health Reference Center Academic provides full-text of hundreds of journals, books, and other published sources from the Humanities field.
History:
- Massachusetts History Online provides full-text articles from 50 magazines and local newspapers about Massachusetts.
Literature:
- Contemporary Literary Criticism Select provides critical essays and biographical information on contemporary writers.
