Netscape Navigator 3x

To Enable Cookies

Cookies cannot be disabled in this version. The cookies warning may be turned off. To turn off the warning and accept cookies automatically use the following instructions.

1. Click "Options"
2. Click "Network Preferences"
3. Click "Protocols" tab
4. Under "Show an Alert Before"
   
   • Click "Accepting a Cookie"

To Enable Java Scripting

1. Click "Options"
2. Click "Network Preferences"
3. Click "Languages" tab
4. Click "Enable Java Script"
5. Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 4x

To Enable Cookies

1. Click "Edit"
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click "Advanced"
4. Under "Cookies"
   
   • Click "Accept All Cookies"

To Enable Java Scripting

1. Click "Edit"
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click "Advanced"
4. On top of screen
   
   • Click "Enable Java Script"
5. Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 6x

To Enable Cookies

1. Click "Edit"
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click the "Privacy and Security" category
4. Click the "Cookies" category
5. Click "Enable All Cookies"

To Enable Java Scripting

1. Click "Edit"
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click "Advanced"
4. Click "Enable Java"
5. Click "Enable JavaScript in Navigator"
6. Click "OK"

Netscape 7x

To Enable Cookies

1. Click on the "Edit" menu
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click on symbol next to "Privacy & Security" in the "Category" box
4. Click on the word 'Cookies' in the "Category" box
5. Click on the circle next to "Enable All Cookies" or "Enable Cookies Based on Privacy Settings"
6. Click "OK"

To Enable Java Scripting

1. Click "Edit"
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click "Advanced"
4. Click "Enable Java"
5. Click "Enable Native Object Scripting "
6. Click "OK"

Netscape Browser 8x

To Enable Cookies

1. Click "Tools"
2. Click "Options"
3. Click "Site Controls"
4. Click checkbox next to "Allow Sites to Set Cookies"
5. Click checkbox next to "Enable Java Script"
6. Click checkbox next to "Enable Java"
7. Click "Privacy"
8. Click + sign next to "Cookies"
9. Look for "Keep Cookies" - click the arrow
10. At the drop down box choose "Until I Close Netscape"
11. Click "OK"
