Ballads, an Exhibit by Rafael Francisco Salas

An exhibit of works incorporating acrylics, charcoal and other media by Rafael Francisco Salas will be open in the Borgia Gallery (second floor, Mary Dooley College Center) from October 19 through November 15.
Rafael is painter and associate professor of art at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. He received his M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art and his B.A. from Macalester College. His work is represented by the Portrait Society Gallery in Milwaukee.
In conjunction with First Year Seminar and The Common Read, the opening of the show will be celebrated with a reception and artist’s talk from 4:15–6 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, in the Borgia Gallery.
The exhibit is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, except college holidays. Free and open to the public.
