Emmanuel Cheo, RN, MSN/MBA, is the director of quality improvement at Mercy LIFE, a Medicare sanctioned PACE organization (and insurance plan). He serves as a member of the MBA Executive Advisory Council at Elms College and teaches in the MBA program. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Capital Community College in Hartford, CT.
Emmanuel is passionate about global health and has worked on projects assessing health care organizations and operations in Connecticut and Haiti, as well as community healthcare needs in Cameroon. As a practicing nurse he has served in several frontline and leadership roles, including as a volunteer member of the Massachusetts Action Coalition (communication plan team) charged with executing the RWJF’s statewide APIN (advancing progression in nursing) grant initiative.
Emmanuel graduated from Berea College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and from Elms College with MBA and MSN degrees in healthcare leadership. He teaches a class on Global Health in the Elms MBA program.
