Joyce Hampton, Ed.D.

Dr. Joyce Hampton is a senior administrator with 30+ years of progressive responsibility in Catholic higher education/academic affairs, with an emphasis on teaching, academic program development, student success initiatives, and collaboration with academic and student affairs colleagues to strengthen curricular and co-curricular learning in support of the mission.

As Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Hampton is responsible for providing leadership in all of our academic programs, advancement of our Strategic Priorities for the institution, and design of practices and policies regarding equitable and inclusive student retention and success. In addition, Dr. Hampton provides oversight for the Registrar’s Office, Institutional Assessment, First Year Seminar, the Center for Student Success, Experiential Learning and the Honors Programs.

Dr. Hampton earned her Ed.D. in Educational Policy, Research, and Administration and a Masters of Education in Language, Linguistics and Culture at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In addition she earned a Bachelor of Science, Biology from the University of Texas-Dallas.
