Amy Jacques is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing at Elms College. Amy has been a dedicated member of the Elms College community since 2014 when she enrolled as a student in the undergraduate nursing program. She immediately continued her education in the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program at Elms College after graduating with her BSN in 2018. Amy began her professional journey at Elms as a Graduate Assistant in the nursing skills lab while completing her MSN. She has since gained extensive experience as adjunct faculty, teaching a variety of nursing courses virtually in the RN-BSN program, as well as in-person in accelerated nursing programs, particularly in skills lab environments. Amy is very passionate about supporting nursing students throughout their educational journey. She is known for her calm, non-judgmental approach and is committed to helping students become well-rounded, competent, and compassionate nurses. In addition to her academic work, Amy has several years of experience as a certified Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She is an advocate for high-quality, patient- and family-centered care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
