Elms School of Nursing provides the experienced professional nurse with advanced knowledge, competencies and innovative approaches needed for nursing careers and advanced prepared roles in nursing education, nursing and healthcare management, and school nursing. Our interdisciplinary community of nursing educators and scholars challenge master-level students to embrace change in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment, and to respond creatively while advocating for people in need.
Fully Online
4 MSN Tracks, 3 Certificate Programs
Master of Nursing Program Tracks
Offered fully online, all MSN degrees are comprised of a core curriculum, a specialty track, and a practicum.
RN-MSN and RN-BSN-MSN
Designed for RNs who want to further their career in nursing, both the RN-MSN Program and the RN-BSN-MSN Program require some on-campus, classroom components.
RN-MSN
The RN-MSN Program is for RNs who hold a non-nursing baccalaureate degree, who are seeking an MSN.
RN-BSN-MSN
The RN-BSN-MSN Program is for RNs who may or may not hold a non-nursing baccalaureate degree, and who want to earn a BS in nursing as well as an MS in nursing.
Certificate Programs
These three certificate programs are designed to provide advanced coursework in specialty areas for baccalaureate-prepared or master’s-prepared nurses who are seeking to expand their nursing competencies as nurse managers, nurse educators, school nurses, or health specialists with an interest in global health.
All three certificate programs can be taken fully online.

Criteria for admission varies slightly based on whether you are enrolling in an MSN Track, Bridge Program (e.g. RN-MSN or RN-BSN-MSN), or a Certificate Program. See each program for details.
