I transferred to Elms College after earning my associate’s degree in nursing at Berkshire Community College. I’m working as a registered nurse at an assisted living facility.
In the RN-BSN program, I take courses remotely. As someone who is working full-time and is a mother to two children, I find it very convenient.
After I got my associate’s degree, I wanted to continue to get my bachelor’s in nursing, and even earn my master’s. I asked other students I knew what would be a good school for me, and here I am at Elms.
Dr. Emily Cabrera, the director of the RN-BSN program, is a great resource for understanding a career in nursing and how to reach that goal.
I am very motivated to continue my education because it represents a better life for me and my children. I want to inspire my children that anything is possible if they work hard and never give up on their dreams.
I do not have any regrets about Elms College. On the contrary, I am very happy with my program. I would definitely recommend it to others because it is a program designed to help students who have families and work responsibilities.
