Pantoja Spanish Banner

“We can do anything we set our minds to — we just have to be determined and keep those future goals in mind at all times.”

Maira Pantoja ’16, double major in Spanish and secondary education

Spanish is the third most widely spoken language in the world, and it has become an integral part of American society. Our Spanish minor explores Spanish and Latin American history, literature, film, and culture from antiquity to the present. Elms offers opportunities to study abroad in Spain and Latin America to develop your linguistic abilities and cultural understanding.

A minor in Spanish can increase your career options.  It can help you prepare for a better job, whether your interests lie in education, nursing, biology, international business, social work, criminal justice, or other fields.
