Elms College hosted a Day of Respect on November 18th as part of the Respect Campaign, a multi-year initiative that fosters campus diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. Students, faculty, and staff united for a day of reflection, learning, and commitment to respect and understanding.

This campaign is a cornerstone of Elms’ mission to educate a diverse group of students in a supportive campus environment. The Day of Respect included Elms College students participating in an activity to understand their privilege and biases. Elms College President Dr. Dumay spoke about the importance of the Respect Campaign and the community coming together to commit to the Elms College Mission.

Additionally, student organizations held activities, and students were encouraged to sign the pledge. By signing the pledge, students committed to fostering an inclusive campus environment, actively addressing bias, and standing in solidarity with marginalized groups.
