Living at Elms

Living on the Elms College campus is a rich and rewarding experience that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Our residence halls are a beehive of activity. When you live on campus, you will find yourself gravitating toward people who share your interests, and may even meet people who expose you to interests you weren’t aware you had. You will see your residence hall as your home away from home, and those you meet will become friends for the rest of your life.  Whether it’s study groups, playing video games, or watching movies, our residence halls are excellent places to hang out.

Living on campus will heighten and accentuate your Elms College experience in ways that extend far beyond the classroom.

Elms College has no residency requirement, but we highly recommend it for all students, even those who live locally. Living on campus places you at the heart of campus, giving you immediacy to campus resources like Alumnae Library, the McGuire Athletic Center, and campus activities on weekends and evenings. Residing on campus will help foster in you a strong sense of community, and that is one of the four pillars, along with faith, justice and excellence, identified by the Sisters of St. Joseph as hallmarks of an Elms education.
